I don't think they will announce anything on it at E3. ARMS is the fighting game they want people to focus on during that week. Smash does not need an introduction. It has a huge following and will sell like crazy. Sure a little hype would be nice, but it doesn't need the huge pre-announcement window that ARMS has had. I could easily see them announcing it in September and then releasing a deluxe version of the Wii U title in November or adding a few more features and saving it for next May, similar to Mario Kart's release this year. That way it will help them push through the summer months and won't compete against the other big fall titles and further hype an already exceedingly hyped console. Switch does not need any Smash Brothers help right now. Sure we all want it and it needs it eventually, but it is doing fine at the moment. We'll see though.
