You're talking about something you clearly know nothing about. 

Their mosque's and others in their community reported them to the authorities under suspicions of extremism, that's why they were on a watch list. 

Just a shame that putting someone on a watchlist in Europe is the equivalent of meaningless. When UK is out of the EU they should introduce laws that can violate extremists on watch list privacy way more than is allowed by EU law. Tab their phones, Internet, hell insert them with a GPS chip and install software on street camera's to put an eye on these potential terrorists.
