America will fastly, and deservingly so, fall behind the rest of the world if it starts treating science as an evil "socialist conspiracy" like the fear-fetishists believe. Europe needs to cut ties with the US asap and start focusing on countries with potential like China, or even Russia if they stopped their anti-gay + psudeo dictatorship ways.
If America is going to continue to live in a fantasy land where coal mining is the "future", science is evil, and the environment is left at the door -then this country needs to die. Hell, I'd encourage it to, especially with the anti-education spreading where alternative facts rule the land.
