What does it matter that they aren't exclusive? You can still play MK8 and BotW on the Wii U, and the fact that they got ported doesn't change anything about that.

What I'm saying is that the Wii U got less support than any other Nintendo home console. And I bought the Wii U for games that would be exclusive for a long time, just like with all other Nintendo systems (even the Virtual Boy). And most people who bought a Wii U also bought it for exclusives, because the console itself was awful. And yes, Wii U is VERY overrated.
