Except Switch is not just a console it's a portable as well and 3DS dominating Japan equals to 23m units sold so far so yes it is something to brag about
especially as a number like that has an influence over Japanese developers. PS4 had a heavy hitter come out the week Switch launched in HZD did you forget about that as well as Nier the following week and neither did anything to hamper the Switch which also has it's own heavy hitters out this year as well.
