We are running into some problems here. If drugs are legalized there is no justification to send someone anywhere, neither prison nor rehab. Some addicts might go into rehab willingly, what about the remaining?

Would you move into an area when you see drug addicts on the streets and people selling drugs at the corners (assuming it would be legal)?

Well if you legalise drugs I would assume the middle class will find their healthcare and their rehab, when they vollunteer. The rst of the junks will live on the social systems a government has to offer. Perhaps we should introduce a base income for them while we are at it. Sponsored  by the working middle class of course.Because obviously a crackhead won't have a job. I wouldn't move their obviously since I don't want to be near those people. So the only way you can legalize drugs, drug use and be totally fine with drug addiction is to accept the price.

The real question is how much are you prepared to pay for the lower social class of society. Besides doesn't the US arrest mostly drug dealers instead of junks.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
