Sony are in a great position. In fact its a reversal of what happened last gen. Sony were pushing games all over the place, but they could never compete with MS on price. So everytime Sony reduced the price, MS did the same. Now MS has the problem, but they also have the issue that they have seemingly given up on development again and Sony are pushing games out at an amazing rate.
Scorpio comes out with a lack of 1st party, Sony drops the price of the Pro, maybe even the slim, brings out the big hitters (Spiderman is apparently this year - which would be crazy, that would then mean GOW march next year). No good having new hardware if all that people are going to be talking about is the massive amount of games, and even more importantly the exclusives that you cannot get on said new hardware. yet again they've missed the point (well I guess we'll see in a couple of weeks if MS have learnt their lesson, i suspect not).
