If anyone thinks MS has not been a huge driving force in gaming..... well, I don't know what to say.

We can see them right now pushing consoles forward with Scorpio, just as Sony did with the PS4, then the Pro. They've pushed controllers forward since the very beginning of their console days. Recently, they took that even a step further, with the Elite controller (I was hoping to see Sony make a DS4 Elite-type thing. I'm losing faith that they will though).

They've published many iconic games, and brought us many iconic series'. Halo is the most obvious one, but Gears has also become huge.

They've been out in front with console online service since day one, and have pushed Sony, and now (finally!) Nintendo to improve their online offerings. This is probably the most obvious space where MS has been the one to push the industry forward.

I've owned almost every major console since Atari 2600. I think every single one of them moved gaming forward in some way. I do most of my gaming right now on my PS4 Pro (submitted as evidence of my non-fanboyness). I'm glad to see that Sony's power advantage has pushed MS to take it up yet another level. I look forward to seeing what comes next.
