I don't disagree with your opinion at all. Heck, I agree with you completely. These games are always the same and nothing new. However, consumers hold much different viewpoints. I don't disagree with you at all. It is my opinion. Do i play my games because of the mass fifa-holics in europe? No. I havnt even bothered to play FIFA 13 which was given to me for free. Does a product thats sole audience is America care? Most likely not either. Fifa didnt help the X1 launch when bundled. Why would Fifa 18?

Any big name combined with the PS4 will hurt the XB1. Replace Fifa with Madden and you may or may not see more damage in the American market- not too sure.

 

The Scorpio however will enter a difficult market- to an average consumer, why would they go for a $400-500 console with NO game instead of a console for $299 WITH a game?
