There's only a few Nintendo franchises that I really like (to the point of making me truly care about the characters), but I tried to be as diverse as possible. 8. Bowser
I'm not a big fan of the Mario franchise, and I don't really like any of the main characters, but Bowser is just too awesome and I feel bad for him everytime I play a Mario game. He doesn't deserve it.
7. Falco Lombardi
Everyone loves Falco, there's not much that needs to be said.
6. N
So I'm not considering actual Pokémon for characters, but people within Pokémon still count - and out of those, N was always such a standout. An amazing character with an amazing arc.
5. Revali
A lot of people hate him, and that's understandable, but not me. Yes, he was a dick, but that was awesome (there are never any real dicks in Zelda), and I really got the feeling he was a cool guy overall and was just jealous of Link. His VA was great (can't be said for most of the English VA), and I just loved his arrogant nature.
4. Samus Aran
The most awesome bounty hunter in the galaxy is a pretty universal pick, so again, not much to say here.
3. Kass
Whoa. I was sold on this guy from the moment he showed up at that Game Awards gameplay, just because of his awesome design and the concept (being a musician and all). And then came the game and well, without delving too much into spoiler territory, let's just say his story is a pretty damn amazing one.
2. Fox McCloud
He might be a very one-dimensional protagonist (as are most Nintendo protagonists anyways), but Fox was always so awesome. I just love his design (well in most games at least), his voice, and his story with his dad and all that stuff. He feels like a true leader and is the main reason I love Star Fox.
1. Meta Knight
There's just no other answer - this guy is as cool as cool gets. The reality is, I don't even like the Kirby games, and couldn't care less about the universe just in general, but Meta Knight is just way cool. It really is just his insanely awesome design and his personality (and I guess his Smash moveset) - I don't care what he's doing in the Kirby games, or what's his relevance to anything, he's just awesome.
...now let's see if I saved this thread or only prolonged its life for a few more minutes.
Edit: oh wow, I completely forgot about Ghirahim. I guess he'd be #5 just above Revali, but alas, it wasn't meant to be.
