I gave up trying cause I drove flawlessly on some GPs and only got 2 stars while I got 3 stars on some where I thought I didn't drive as well.

Yea I know what u mean i did the damn special cup 100cc atleast 10times now perfect driving 1st place every race and yet still god damn 2 stars .  I was gonna quit , but I went online worldwide race saw people with golden wiiwheel who had 3stars and only 5660 vr points that hurt my pride alil so now i'm more motivated then ever to get this damn third star even if it takes 1000000 tries.
