No, those extra 700k units were shipped via airplane at end of March, and they are most likely units that meant to be shipped for post launch sales.

Increasing production requires time (espacily doubling production) it can't be done over night.

Yes in AU and in Italy is available, but that isn't case for US, Japan, UK and some other European countries and you clearly talking nonsense.

Switch wouldn't have price of $425 on Amazon US if is "easily available".

https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=nintendo+switch&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Anintendo+switch

I already posted the link for the UK. It is readily available at Argos and Amazon UK.

And the Switch has a price of $390 on Amazon US, not $425. On top of that, istocknow shows the Switch available at 650 Walmarts, 212 targets and 32 Gamestops. While not readily available in the US, it is available. Which is why most posters here already have a Switch (those who wanted one).

About your link, on that link currently 16 stores in UK have Switch available and 41 stores does not have available, so thats not readily available.

Fact that price for cheapest Switch is $95 above regular price proves that Switch is not "easily available" in US ,huge demand and low availability are reason why price so much higher on Amazon compared to regular price of $300.

It's very obvious that is very hard to find Switch in some markets (US, Japan, some Europe countres) and thats is still fact, but even on those markets they are new shipments of units that are available from time to time, but in most cases they are sold out very fast. NPD basically confirmed that, and we week sales for Japan also proves that, but you deny all those fact and pushing your narrative that they are not stock issues and that Switch is readily available, relly pathetic.
