I see near JJ levels of lens flare. The fact that it's another prequel likely means they will create more continuity errors. I'm just not feeling it. CBS claimed this series was more for the traditional Star Trek fans than for the JJ-verse Star Trek fans, but what I'm seeing suggests the opposite. And worst of all, they want those of us in the US to pay a separate subscription fee to watch it, while the rest of the world gets it on Netflix, something most people already have a subscription to. 

I hope that means it'll be on Netflix here. I'm such a sucker for Michelle Yeoh. I'm programmed to want to like anything she's in.
