Nope, it isn't.   It's in stock at Good Deals Hunting, fulfilled by Amazon, selling for 397.  The 299 price is a "just launched" used reseller.  Most likely a scam.  Been several of those.

Really, Amazon is used to selling consoles with supply issues by third party sellers! The egregious thing is that amazon hosting sellers that sell a 299$ console at 400$... I wonder if Amazon earns something from that!
