Last week..it was down last week. The map had a huge yellow spot in my area. It's literally almost weekly. I live in a city and have google fiber. Despite that PSN is often down here. PSN to download is also extremely slow. PSN is not worh thte 60 bucks a month but I do it to back up my saves online. I still won't forgive PSN going down in October when I was having the online match of my life in King of Fighters XIV. I was kicking all kinds of ass against a very highly ranked player. I was in the zone more than I ever have been in a fightng game. ALL of that was lost because PSN went down mid match. I am still pissed about it. Yet been able to recapture that.

Then that seems to be a problem on your side, because if PSN was actually "down" it would be down nationwide not city wise.

No it's not my side when I am still getting the same speeds on everything else and yes PSN does have problem areas. You can check a map online. The yellow spots which mean PSN is having issues in those areas were mainly on the west coast. Sometimes it's just areas within a couple states.
