I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure it would most likely be a port of NSMB Wii, just without the 'Wii' part cause it would be releasing on another platform.

That's what I'm thinking too. Wouldn't make sense to port a DS game, remove the dual-screen stuff and also upgrade the graphics to look decent on a TV when you have a console equivalent of that game that's way easier to port and just needs a resolution bump to look good.
