In fairness, X1 and PS4 were up against each other that holiday season. Still, Switch seems to be off to a great start.

Both previous consoles sold 80 million units.  There is clear enough fan seperation that a launch between them is uncompetitive.

But there are also customers who don't necessarily "take sides" in this. Surely they are a factor?
