| Kowan said: I love it. The best experience I've had so far is aiming and shooting the sniper rifle in the game. It's so satisfying. I really think Sony should HEAVILY promote the Aim controller. It will revolutionize FPS games. My complaints in Farpoint are mostly in its visuals. The areas are mostly barren and yeah most of them are big areas you can actually explore but there's nothing in it. They could at least placed some hidden items, easter eggs, weapons and such. |
Great post, I agree with everything you said. Farpoint is definitly in the AA relm, but it proves that VR FPS is ready for the big time, we just need big teams to really knock it out of the park. I played with the smooth movement, and had no issues with motion sickness, so it would have been nice to be able to jump, and look around for collectables. I am really liking the Challange mode now that I am done with the story. It feels great going on a run, and building up the multiplier.
Dick Wilde is definitly even cleaner and more consistant on the tracking side. That game is a hell of a work out though. It is really impressive how well it maintains tracking even when I am wildly ducking and moving side to side, and even shooting with the gun over my head.
Can't wait tell my brother gets done moving so he can finally get a chance to start playing.
