I'm looking to buy a Switch when Mario Odyssey comes out but I really want to see 3-4 other exclusive games that I like to justify the purchase. I personally think filling the Switch catalogue with old games at expensive prices will do damage ultimately to the success of the console. Switch seems very much a premium retro console at the moment more than anything. I think Switch is better served by weaker but portable versions of the latest multi-format games released simultaneously to the ps4 and xbone than dipping too much into the past. Just having the Switch brand mentioned on adverts for the latest games will be powerful in marketing terms.
