Really doesn't surprise me. I will say that NES classic has lost and won to PS4 and Xbone so people can't say it's absolutely to be expected.
I tried my hardest to get one, the closest I got to one was seeing the "add to cart" button on AmazonPrime but when I tried to add it...it was already gone. 
I hope I can get a SNES classic.
