Nintendo also said BOTW is 30fps.

FPS on consoles are never really stable, especially when they say 60fps. That's because you neither have control over the hardware nor the software to guarantee stable frames. Very few games actually keep it stable, MK8 on Wii U is a good example.

I wish Nintendo kept their track record, but they didn't, so there is no reason to believe Arms is stable until it's out.

BotW also had several demos and everyone could see it was dropping frames, meanwhile Arms has been stable 60fps in every demo so far.

MK8 had an almost perfect 60fps with occasional 59fps drops, but Deluxe is always 60fps. Splatoon was a nearly flawless 60fps too, and the Testfire for the sequel on Switch didn't show any drops at all. Loads of Wii U games were flawless 60fps, like DKCTF, SM3DW, Captain Toad, Smash (at 1080p), and more - and it seems the Switch is improving upon that, too. In fact, even BotW on it is pretty much flawless 30fps on handheld mode, and only occasionally drops frames on docked mode after the recent updates.

But I really shouldn't be taking this discussion seriously after what you said about "not having control over the hardware nor the software". That's not even worth replying to.

and with 8-player smash to boot. Plus even the 3DS version is also 60fps on a significantly weaker console
