YOU have 8 hours sessions with this game but most humans don't, at all. I have Disgaea on PSP and I don't think I have ever played for more than 2 hours ever, the battles are short which makes it suited for hanheld gaming, even the graphics makes way more sense on a hanheld than on the most powerful homeconsole in the market.

That's exactly what I'm poiting, there is you and there is me.
If you read what I wrote, I'm saying my way of playing it doesn't mean it's the way to be played, and I'm saying the opposite is exact the same, your or other people way also don't exclude mine and make it clearly better suited for handhelds.

As someone who have been going through the entire series as a dedicated player since the beginning I refuse to let someone say it's better suited for handhelds when it's not the case for me, or other people I know as well that have been playing it that way as the core of its community as well.

The part about the graphics... yeah, no, it not being an AAA game doesn't mean it's less suited for consoles, at all.

That is a point that could explain reviews.

Lets say you and Goodnight both review the PS4 version of the game.

He gives it an 8 cause he wishes it was portable. You give it a 9, cause you love it.

Now a PSV version comes out, same game.

He gives it a 9 cause its portable and he likes it more now. You give it an 8, cause you prefer it on the big TV, battery life, ect. Whatever your reasoning.

Now the game is on the switch. You are both happy. You both give it a 9.

Thus on Metacritic, it is now rated a 9 instead of an 8.5   Same game, but manages to please both types of people.
