The reason there's no Switch version is probably that it would have to be pretty much the same game as on the more powerful systems. Unfortunately the porting effort is probably greater than they're willing to do. The 3DS game was almost certainly so different that it was a completely different product. Doesn't fully make sense but it does make some sense.
Also, the game is looking pretty neat. I'll reserve proper judgement until seeing proper gameplay footage though.
