To convey disbelief that something is done would be a clear indiction that you feel it annoys you as you say in the OP "(I can't believe that Los Angeles or New York would find this acceptable),"

and it's funny based on your nationality as it would be if I was to make a thread on hear asking why Australians wipe their ass a certain way, the impact of the question and the answer makes to my life is nil as should be how someone goes to work casually dressed in US.

But yeah if you weren't annoyed by it and you think that feigning disbelief or shock about something like this is normal then power to ya, I'm out though this thread is a low point on VGchartz in all the time I've been here.
