As for mario kart selling so well, it's probably because there's not much available to play right now since it just came out two months ago. As for PS4, it has hundoof games to pick from, not 5-10 like Switch currently has. So it's not that hard to see why MK8 sold as well as it did. 

 

But you knew that already 😉

People still don't understand that the choice on PS4 matters. It's laughable. Yeah, only 5% of players will buy one exclusive, but when you have tens of exclusives every year it makes a lot of 5%+5%+5%... And so all of these smaller audiences can have the games they want. 

 

People thinking that the PS4 sells more thanks to better multiplat are several years late. The PS4 Pro already proved that wrong anyway, the Scorpio will only prove this further.
