Sony has great exclusive games but they usually have an attach rate of less than 5-10%.

In fact, not a single PS4 exclusive to date has an attach rate of more than 15%.

Hell, only 4 out of every 100 PS4 owners bought HZD! (2.61m sales to 60 million consoles is only a 4% attach rate)

People that say PS4 has sold so well because of it's exclusives make me laugh.

It sells so well because it's got the best versions of all multi platform games... Until this fall anyway.

Yea, sure.  That's why it's selling so well.  So, again, why did the PS1 and PS2, and even the $499 PS3, sell so well?  Cause the PS1 got multiplats that were on par with the N64.  And I guess it can't be because of exclusives like FF7 that only have a 10% attach rate.  The PS2 had inferior multiplats.  And the PS3 had inferior multiplats for the first year or two of its lifespan.  Lol, if you honestly think that's the only reason it sells so well, you are going to be sadly awakened when the Scorpio does little to put a dent in the PS4's lead over the XBO.

You see, using attach rates on a system that has sold so well is really misleading.  You can make it seem like a game sold poorly, yet it sold 3M-6M, even 10M, which is great for a game.  Especially a more niche title, which the PS4 has plenty of those that have done 1M+.  And everyone of those games that can only be played on the PS4 just brings more and more attention to it.  More and more people.  More and more HW sales. 

People like a varied library, with varied exclusives.  And the PS4 has that in spades.
