I'd be all for that. Yooka-Laylee is great, probably the most pure simple fun I have had since Jak and Daxter. I would really like a real successor to Donkey Kong Country and even more so Donkey Kong 64. If Nintendo won't do it, then I am all for spiritual successors.

It always boggles my mind why we have to have unnecessary complexity in games today. Stuff like Knack and Yooka-Laylee is great because it is just simple, enjoyable, and relaxing. It is why Jak and Daxter is my favorite of the Jak games, DKC 1&2 are my favorite in the series, and many more examples. Sometimes basic gameplay with well made, simple straight forward level design is the way to go. Get to complexe and you start making things niche. Niche is awesome, I love niche titles that are made just for me, but we need titles that are still simple enough for the casuals, children, and core gamers that can enjoy a relaxing break from stuff like Souls and Bloodborne.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
