That about sums up XCX in general for me; a chaotic mix of the fantastic and the crappy, good overall but wildly uneven.

But at least it did have a wow factor, and it's easily one of the most ambitious games on Wii U. Arguably THE most ambitious game on Wii U. Same can be said for the original. So far this game doesn't appear to be of that same.... thing. It's hard to explain
