There may be some precedent to kingofwale's comments. See my earlier comment regarding the microchip shortage of 1989. However, there's no point in citing a temporary shortage as a case of a purposeful shortage. The Japanese launch shortages of Brawl were entirely understandable in the context of the expectations for the game's initial sales being less than the actual demand. This happens all the time in the industry, as does over-estimation of demand. It usually gets corrected within a month, which is what happened with Brawl in Japan.
Sky Render - Sanity is for the weak.
