Pretty bold statement, especially because at end of life of console and before new console arrives, console have huge drop is sales.

Especially if the PS5 is announced as being backwards comp. with PS4 games and running them (potentialy) with better graphics/loading times etc like the Scorpio does natively and the PS4 Pro does patched or with ps4 boost mode.

That would really slow down sales but on the other hands if the PS4 pro never leaked out it would have been announced very close to release so they might go that route with the PS5 again.

All things aside I think its to early to predict since we don't fully know how much of a true hit the Switch is this year it might just take off completely if third parties start backing it and the next 2 E3 shows are great. But it might also turn out that the PS4 is just to much of a sales cannon, only time will tell.

But anyway long story short, I agree its a pretty bold statement at THIS time
