With the winding down of the Vita and the relative popularity of the Switch (and its handheld mode) in Japan it seems Japanese devs are already interested in the platform.
As for western 3rd parties though, I really think the performance of games like Skyrim, Fifa, NBA2K, and that Rabbids crossover, along with sales of the console itself over the coming year, will determine whether or not they back it. They're probably still waiting to see if more conventional gamers who are interested in such games have bought into the Switch, or if there's no market for it.
