This is hardly secret news. Just like when the whole world knew Iraq didn't have weapons of mass destruction and an invasion would be a disaster that would destabilize the region. Proper information flow to the US population is so clamped down that they're perpetually always the last people to hear things that relate to their own country.
It's not that the information isn't available, it's that almost the entire US population seems to be brainwashed into ignoring all relevant information.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
