It's become very evident that Nintendo has some serious NDA's with their third party partners (as is made clear in that they couldn't even confirm their ports after appearing in the Switch's reveal trailer initially lol, not to mention the STILL unannounced Rabbids crossover).

If I had to guess, I think Nintendo is going to really try to blow the doors off of E3 to get as much momentum going as possible for the Switch. That they've already gotten all of the 3DS and New 2DS stuff out and announced ahead of time supports this idea in my mind, avoiding distractions from the main focus.

I don't know. I don't think Skyrim or Fifa of all games are going to make that much of an impact in E3. Then again, if they are making Skyrim to work through motion controlls...

I don't mean that, I'm just saying Nintendo has proven to be very, very controlling of what is said and when/where it is said regarding any of their games, 3rd parties included. They seem to prefer announcing things and releasing info all at once as opposed to haphazardly.

As Luke888 said, though, it could just be because there's not much to say. You don't hear much about the upcoming NBA 2k or Fifa on other platforms either.
