Have fun waiting about 2-3 years on that price drop. Mario Kart 8 on Wii U is 10 dollars off (still listed at 59 but with a supposed sale) on Amazon. Nintendo hardly ever drops their price on games like Smash and Kart because they know people will buy them at full price.
The most you can hope for is a Mario Kart Switch bundle during the holiday season.
