Worldwide total shipments for PlayStation 4 have reached 60 million, Sony announced in its financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2017.
20 million PlayStation 4s were shipped in fiscal year 2016, which ran between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017.
Sony forecasts it will ship 18 million PlayStation 4s in fiscal year 2017, which began on April 1, 2017 and ends March 31, 2018 for a total of 78 million total PlayStation 4s shipped by next March.
Sony forecasts 78 million total shipments by March 2018.
