If true, Capcom may as well get fitted for one of these:

 

Yeah lets take a Japanese centric franchise where a big part of the appeal is playing portably ... and make it for a home only console that going to get it's ass handed to it by Nintendo in Japan. 

The West is never going to care *that* much for Monster Hunter. If they have locked themselves into a contract, IMO Capcom is probably shitting their pants right now in panic looking at early Switch sales.
