People couldn't experience the core mechanics on the original demo. You see a trailer and you can't experience that old RE feel. You have to play it, you have to digest it and then you come to the conclusion that the game has the same mechanics as the old RE games. It is true, it has the same mechanis on paper... But old RE fans aren't going to jump on it because at first look it doesn't look like a classic RE game.
