It wouldn't be truly fair since RE5/6 weren't on PC at launch so initial shipment numbers wouldn't include digital sales like RE7 does. I would love to have digital numbers, I know they account for a lot of sales... but we don't have them. As for the week comparision you can check it! Go and look for the games on the database and hit the global button, you have sales up to the 10th week. Further than that... you would have to go week by week. Too much trouble...

If RE7 didnt have the PC version, then the sales for the console counterpart could be higher, or at the very least a good part of the PC sales would be redistributed to the consoles. The reality is that RE 7 launched with a PC version.Dwelling on what if and scenarios that are too hypotetical will lead to nothing when discussing past sales.Thats my take on it anyways.
What I will say though, is that RE 7 was much better received(in general), than RE 5, and specially RE 6.So that could teoretically make its legs much better, and thats what im basically betting on(which in turn will lead to a very good LT sales for RE 7, finishing around 5 or 6 millions). But this part I admit is just pure speculation.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
