It's already doubtful that the PS4 version will run  higher than 30 fps, so the Switch version would be like 15 fps even with worse resolution. We would get a FF15 on Switch a lot earlier than FF7R, and remember that they said they're not even thinking about it because they don't think FF15 can run on this console.

Anyway, they seem to have at least a marketing deal with Sony, so we shouldn't see the other versions before the release of the PS4 version. Fake "rumor" based on the port begging made everywhere when we didn't see "PS4 exclusive" at the end of the first trailer. Would be already more plausible if it said "PC version".

FFXV would be harder to port. It doesn't run on Unreal Engine 4. Unreal Engine 4 runs very well on the Switch.

The PS4 version from the snippet they showed ran at least at 30 fps from what I saw.

There isn't exclusive to PS4, that much is clear. IMO this would sell more on Switch than on XBox or PC too, so there's obvious financial motivation to want to do it.

It's at least timed exclusive ("play it first on"), and you don't show other versions of a timed exclusive game before the release of the first version, and even less before even announcing the date of this release.

Unreal Engine or not, this console is weak compared to the others, let's not go back to the "everything will be ported on it thanks to UE" that we saw before the reveal of the actual line-up. Not one of the games on Switch is great graphics-wise, the best looking ones have framerate issues and they're leagues from FF7R. It would need a huge downgrade. And even if a bit of gameplay shown on PS4 is better than 30fps in the first promo trailers, it doesn't mean it will in the final game.

SE didn't even talk and even less showed the already announced Switch version of DQ11 because it's not released yet on the original consoles, but you guys think that they will do it for FF7R?
