So we went over a weird girlfriend the other night, well tonight we'll go over another incident.

When I was 12 I was a dumb and young pre-teen who wanted a girlfriend. Problem was, my overly religious parents wouldn't allow it until I was 18 (something I disobeyed XD). So because of that I'd have to keep my relationships either at school or online or both. Well in this case, I met a girl online on Facebook.

I was super duper into Pokemon and all things Nintendo back then. Because of that I'd often go to Pokemon pages and would friend anyone with a Pokemon profile pic. In this case I added a girl who had a picture of some fan art Pokemon trainer. We didn't talk initially but we soon did. And we kind of hit it off. Eventually we started dating as well. We started dating and I'd yet to know what she looked like but she knew what I looked like. Naive me didn't care though, I was happy to have someone.

Then she asked for my phone number and we started texting and eventually she stopped using Facebook which I found odd. She talked of her family a lot, she was rich, she said. Mentioned how she had a cousin. Nothing too weird. But things soon became weird.

First, after begging, I finally got a picture of her, or so I thought... Later she revealed it was her sister and not her. She said it was because she didnt think she was pretty enough. She then sent me a picture of an emo girl. I knew it wasn't her due to the size of the photo (it was an old JPEG photo clearly taken from Google Images) but my stupidity took it in. So now she, in my head, was this emo girl.

It then occurred to me that we never spoke. The relationship, at this point, was 4 months in. I asked if we could call each other, she refused. I asked why and her explanation was her dad wouldn't let her. But she wouldnt let us call even when he wasnt around.

I later asked for a new photo of her since I had sent her so many selfies, she, again, refused -saying it would upset her father. From time to time she'd ask for me to send nudes, I'd always say no, much to her disappointment.

I eventually asked again if we could call, she said no. But said I could call her cousin.

Her "cousin" was a older dude, mid-20's guy who was the type that took douchey photos of himself shirtless and would occassionally ask tech questions. Apparently, he visited her house a lot. Or so I was told.

Sometimes she'd send me videos, of her playing video games. Well one day I noticed something. The tv was filmed during the day exposing a reflection. The reflection was not that of the emo girl I thought she was, but was instead the outline of her cousin... "cousin".

I then questioned her. Like why her cousin was so dark compared to her (she was pale and he was tanned as if he was at the beach all the time) and why her cousin had her phone number on his profile. Her explanation was, she was adopted. Her dad found her on the side of the road and she found out she was Irish. As for the number, she said he gave the phone to her as a gift. Yet the voice mail was still his.

Of course, I dived in more. I asked her cousins FB friends if they knew my gf, they said they'd never heard of her and he (her cousin) never went anywhere. Also, keep in mind during the course of this, "relationship", her age changed from 17, to 16, to 15... for reasons so stupid it's not worth going into detail for...

I got myself to leave "her" and didnt feel guilty, But Jesus Christ, child me was naive and fucking stupid. Dunno why I insisted staying with that person despite the obvious red flags
