This is what I thought. It's all OK, albeit quite weird, until this point, assuming her mental health seems fine, but at this point it gets pretty creepy. I mean, it's possible they just had a very open relationship and her mom was really understanding, but this certainly requires a plausible explanation. Personally I might be OK even with this if there's a plausible explanation, but I'm not sure I could find any explanation plausible enough.
