There will be plenty of wars since resources like water and food will be scarce in 2100 with 9/10 billion people. At best lower birth rates of rich countries postpone a new great war (which makes some sense for a change). It will defenitly happen though since climate change is pressing on the available nutrient and fresh water availability the planet and till 2100 the people that demand food/nutrients/water will be ever growing. So war will be a logical outcome like when you put too many rats on an island eventually they will kill (and eachother) to sustain themselves. Nothing in history has ever proven us to be any better and plenty of things in history have proven we are way worse to begin with.
