Yes! Because this time Nintendo really has changed. Iwata (R.i.p.) is gone and they have new management taking the reigns. If anything, Nintendo should be more different now compared to WiiU than with what the Wii did for them. Time will tell of course, but I feel like they have a bright future ahead of them. 

Iwata was the man that drove the change described in this article in the first place.

Also, from what I've read the Switch was his baby as well, with meetings about the Switch ending with a "For Iwata!" after he died.
