As many of you know, I have shouted from the mountains about my use of the Vita as my primary smartphone over the last 5 years. I have absolutly loved this device beyond any other piece of tech I have ever owned. During my time with the Vita, I have dabbled in smartphones, having 1 iPhone, and 3 Xperia's during its life. Non of these have come close to bringing the joy of the Vita, and no new and upcoming phones look like they will offer anything worth while either. Unfourtunately, as of Monday April 18, 2017 I no longer have the oppertunity to run wild with the Vita, as firmware 3.65 has killed Skype for good. No more Phone calls means no more Vita on the go. I have carried the Vita exclusivly since January 2015, and it has been great, but I can not justify carrying multiple devices in my day to day business, so now I have to say goodbye to the Vita.

It is heart breaking that 5 years ago I was able to play AAA quality games on the go, with streaming music from Music Unlimited, and recieve phone calls without missing a beat. Now in 2017, I have to carry around a nearly usless device, with no appealing software, and a significantly worse OS. I sincerely hope that this terrible period in mobile tech is short lived, and either Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft bring out a device in the vein of the Vita.

I know this effects very few if anyone else in the world, but I just had to put it out their. Vita is dead, and the mobile market to me, is in the worst spot it has been in, in my 29 years on this planet. Not only is the Vita dead, but their is absolutly nothing on the market the succeeds it. The Switch is damn close, if they could shrink it down just a sliver, and offer a 4G model with call and text, I would drop whatever they wanted to ask for it. For now I picked up an AT&T Cingular Flip, as I want nothing to do with Android or iOS, and I will not support Google device with the Sony name slapped on them any longer.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
