There is a big difference between saying something like "look into the benefits of religion" or "if you are religious talk to your rabbi, imam, priest etc", and saying "why not give your life to Jesus".

The former is presenting religion as an option.  The other is trying to (poorly) sell your religion to incredibly vulnerable people.  It's kind of predatory.

I agree, it's definitely not healthy to let religion play a too important role in your life. To many people can't think for themselves anymore because they prefer religion over common sense.

What I was trying to say with my post, is that people can find some extra help in religion.
I don't know what the OP said in his video, because tbh I didn't feel like watching something sad (sorry). But I assumed he was talking about suicide in general, and how religion helped him staying strong.
