Nintendo fans tripped over themselves to hate on PS4 games in the beginning of this gen for the sole reason that the games were cross gen.

Apparently, the games were, and I quote, "not new games" even though they released on PS4, PS3, XB1, and 360 simultaneously. We had several threads dedicated to the "issue". I hope you weren't one of those because your "Zelda BotW is a brand new Switch game" doesn't correlate with that at all.

Of course we also had all the threads hating on remasters but let's try to forget that as well

 

I agree with you though. A good game is a good game. Having more options is rarely a negative.

Can't wait to play Zelda BotW and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe when I buy a Switch.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe actually has a lot of new features and content though.

- 8 new battle maps (previously had none)

- 5 battle modes (previously had one)

- New characters (Inklings, Dry Bones, Bowser Jr., King Boo, Golden Mario)

- New items (feather, boo)

- New boost (pink sparks)

- Ability to hold two items at once

- 1080p (previously had 720p)

- Portability

- Framerate issue fixed

God of War III: Remastered on the other hand was extremely lazy...
