Splatoon 1,5 and Mario games are pretty much meant for the Nintendo gamer only. My point being, in 1 or 2 years, you will find the exact same games at every Switch owner's house. While you will find a big variety of games at PS4/XB1 owners. This is why they are and will stay more succesful consoles if Nintendo continues with this lower power and less content approach. |
Maybe the people who purchased Switch enjoy those games? Zelda is one of the best games of all time, Mario Kart battle mode is back (mostly), ARMS and Splatoon 2 both look like they're going to be really fun. End the year off with a 3D Mario game and I'd say that's plenty of big games for the first 9 months. Of course, some don't enjoy those games, but you really can't fathom the idea that some people do? Personally, I feel Switch will have the best first year of a console ever, and it will all be portable.
