What potential? The overall 2017 line up is embarassing. Every Switch owner will end up with the same few games (full-priced port MK8, splatoon 2, Mario Odyssey). There's no variety for different types of gamers. I'm a big Nintendo fan myself but I see absolutely no reason to buy it now. 

I think the hype around the concept of Switch is what made many people buy the system so early without looking at the software line-up. They are destined to be disappointed when they realize the droughts take months with a few indie-games in between which are cheaper and with better performance on the other home-consoles. 

 so as a switch owner, according to you, im not allowed Skyrim, or xeno 2, or yooka laylee, or snake pass, or lego city, or 1/2 switch amongst any other game that gets released. ok makes sense.
