Dude, don't even joke about that; it might happen. He literally gave Mario Kart 7 a 5/10.

And people say he's not biased...

I can see him saying "the game limits you to hold ONLY 2 items, that's game breaking 5/10"

Jim Sterling uses reviews to generate controversy to bring in more attention. People say "But he doesn't have ads!!1!" but he still needs content to drive eyes to his beloved patreon. Nothing generates attention like indignations of fans, and whiteknights rallying around him. If you need proof of my claims, look no further than the notorious Mario Kart 7 vs MW3 meme, which he turned around and made a video on for tons of money.

Slant also does this, just look at their review history on Metacritic: 70% of their reviews are below the average, by 8+ points, and 60% of their reviews are below positive reception. Just look at their reviews for Alien Isolation, Breath of the Wild, Final Fantasy X/X2 HD, and Gravity Rush 2 to see some of the flame-baitiest trash ever put to text.

Gaming content for gamers, by gamers. It's just common sense.
