You can only cape Pikachu's Thunder if I miss and go right in front of you. On a direct hit, you take the hit regardless of where your at in the animation. Very risky to stay above the top when I'm throwing T-bolts at you <.<
To be honets the only reason I ever practice with Pikachu is for Snake's during tournaments. While its not too hard to use Kirby and F-throw>U-air>F-smash>Multiple Spikes against him... if I miss for any reason I get royally screwed. Pika can just chain grab the hell out of him and Skull Bash + Thunder is extremely easy to land on him off the edge if he has to up-b.
